ADC Telecommunications Inc (Nasdaq:ADCT) stock last traded at 12.510, up by 3.660 or 41.36% trading on a volume of 96,001,558 shares. The opening price of the stock lies at 8.980 and the high lies at a point of 12.650 and the low marks 8.980. It has been announced by ADC and Tyco today that they will be involving themselves in a definitive agreement and the agreement states that ADC will be acquired by Tyco for$12.75 per share in cash. The enterprise value will be $1.25 billion approximately. It is been expected that the transaction will be increasing by about $0.14 per share during the full yearly period. This will place Tyco to be a leading name in the world in offering broadband connectivity products. The average volume of the stock is at 2,784,800.
